Congratulations Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Club on winning the following awards at this year’s GFAA Awards Night.
John O’Brien Trophy for Highest Point Scoring Tag & Release GFAA club in Australian Waters. This is the 10th time the SCGFC have been National T&R Champions with 197,134 points.
The team on Chaos also had fantastic results. Congratulations Jay, Dee and Crew on winning the following;
David Litchfield Trophy – highest point scoring boat T&R Marlin in Australian Waters.
Tailored Marine Trophy – highest point scoring Boat T&R in Australian Waters.
Sir Garrick Agnew Trophy – Runner up, most billfish tagged – Bryce Bartleson
Our juniors also featured on the night with the following results showing all of QLD that was provided by QGFA Secretary, Dawn Earle and added the following comment from QGFA – Sincere congratulations go out to all of these winners for their participation and effort throughout the year. For those Juniors and Smallfry who participated and didn’t win anything we say “job well done and don’t give up as next year could be your turn”.
